Meet Our Staff - Sales Department
Tom O'Leary (Business Development Manager)

I'm the Business Development Manager at G&C Foods; and started with the company in May of 2002. In addition to developing new territories and visiting our customers, I am the direct liaison for all of our private buying groups. I am originally from Binghamton, NY; but moved to Syracuse back in 1985. I've been in the Food Service Business for over thirty years; I'm married with three children and one grand daughter.


Karl Montana (Business Development Manager)

I joined the G&C Team in May 2009. As BDM I cover the northern and eastern states of our coverage area working to further enhance the business of both G&C and our Customers. I have been in Food Service since I started at the pizza shop at age 13. I have worked in many parts of this industry from the kitchen all the way up through distribution and buying groups. When I am not extolling the virtues of good food and G&C I can be found watching the Red Sox, hanging out with my wife and two kids or on the golf course.


Michael Adams (Account Executive)

I joined the G & C Foods Team in July of 2009. I have worked in sales for the past 14 years for a variety of companies including Phillips Mushroom Farms, Nabisco and Kraft Foods; the last 8 years I have concentrated in the food redistribution segment. I have lived in Pennsylvania my entire life and most recently reside in Avondale, PA, with my wife Lisa, two children, Christina and Rachael and my dog, Stella. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and volunteering in my local community. And after all of that, I try to sneak in a round of golf every now and then.


Kevin Brown (Account Executive)

I have recently become part of the G&C family and believe that it will be a great experience. I spent 17 years at IBP/Tyson in a variety of positions, and the last 5 years in Purchasing for a SYSCO Meat Company. I am looking forward to using that experience to have a successful career here at G&C. I am married and have two daughters, and when I'm not working I spend my time with my family.


Karen Case (Account Executive)

I joined the G&C foods family in 2001, after 25 plus years in the retail warehouse meat distribution. I have an extensive background ranging from buying and selling to inventory control of meat and related products. In my free time I enjoy boating and camping "up north" on the beautiful St. Lawrence river.


Jim Costello (Account Executive)

I have always worked in the food industry; starting out at Wegmans as a cashier (McDonald's would not hire me!). After eight year tenure at Wegmans I become an Assistant Manager at Bevaco's Cash and Carry; where I also learned inside sales. In 1996 Bevaco's closed their Syracuse office and I secured an Inside Sales position with G&C Foods. Outside the office I enjoy reading, listening to music, running, and spending time with my dog, Bandit, who continues to show me that life really isn't all that complicated as I think it is and that if a problem can't be solved by the end of a walk, it probably isn't worth thinking about.


Dave Denadai (Account Executive)

I have enjoyed working in sales at G&C Foods for 9 years. I have also worked in a similar position at Empire Beef. Before G&C I had worked for 12 years in the food industry for several distributors selling directly to restaurants and retail.


David Madonna (Account Executive)

I have been working in the food industry since 1984. I started working in a retail butcher shop when I was 16 years old and continued for 14 years. After that I went to work for Cavallaro Specialty Foods before coming to G&C in 2002. When not at work here at G&C I can be found working anywhere from my woodworking shop to the local dairy farm. If that gets boring I can be found out for a run with my wife and 2 dogs, or out on my bicycle.


Patrick Molyneux (Account Executive)

I joined the G&C family in February of 2008. I started in the food business by attending culinary school right out of high school. After working in various restaurants for a few years I shifted gears and went to work for a food distributor. I was able to learn enough to get a job with Empire Beef, where I spent the next 10 years working in both purchasing and sales. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my wife and two children. I also enjoy fishing, tennis, cooking and landscaping.


Bill Moran (Account Executive)

I have always worked in the food industry, starting in a corner store bagging groceries, and cleaning the meat blocks as a kid. Over the years I have worked as a meat cutter, various department heads, Store Manager (in several large Chains), and owned my own deli. I then started working for Swift Meats as a Sales Rep, Beef Buyer and Plant Manager until joining the G&C Foods Family in 1988.


John Nasso (Account Executive)

I started in the Food industry 1985 with Allen Food Service in Rochester, NY where I worked for 21 years. I have worked in several aspects of the business including (retail and wholesale) purchasing, portion, and management to name a few. I have had the privilege of working with some of the larger re-distributors and distributors nationally. In the last few years I have gained more great experience by working for Empire Beef Company and Brooks Provisions. I joined the G&C family in 2008 in a dual role in both purchasing and sales over seeing the exceptional values (deal sheet) which specializes in great product at a great price. G&C is a great company to work with and for I look forward to a very bright future with them. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers.


Joseph Pierce (Account Executive)

I have been working for G&C Foods since September 2007. I have been in the Food industry for 10 years with an extensive background ranging from receiving & delivering, to inside sales. In my spare time I can be found spending time with my wife & son or on the golf course.


Matthew Schillace (Account Executive)

I started working for G&C in April of 2009 in a Sales Support role. I graduated from SUNY Cortland in 2007 with a Bachelors Degree in economics. I have spent the last several years in a customer service role at Auburn federal Credit Union and as a realtor. In my spare time I enjoy sports and relaxing with my dogs Ray and Ellie.


Chris Spuches (Account Executive)

When it was time to work full time, it made sense to become part of the G&C Family. I have been working for G&C Foods for over 4 years as a receiver, picker, and selector. I recently have taken the next step in my career moving into an Account Executive position in the sales department. In my spare time I enjoy golfing and cooking.


Matt Vavala (Account Executive)

I joined G&C in 2009, bringing both distributor and manufacturer sales experience. After spending five years with Hormel selling all things pig, I joined Nabisco with the goal of being the best saltine salesman in the land. A few years later, Nabisco merged with Kraft foods, and we then had cheese for our crackers. An opportunity in wholesale meat distribution opened up, where I soon learned that goosenecks come from cows. Joining the G&C team has been an exciting transition, and I look forward to making a contribution to the company's growth. I am a big sports fan, especially the Philadelphia Phillies, Kansas State University, and track and field. My three kids are non-stop fun for me and my wonderful wife of 9 years.


Mike Waldman (Account Executive)

I recently returned to G&C Foods after taking a leave of absence. I have a collaborative 34 years in the food industry with experience in retail and wholesale meat, as well as food service. In conjunction with my Food Industry experience I attended Penn State, Cornell University, and am ServSafe certified. Outside of work I am very community involved as a CYO basketball/volleyball referee, and volunteering with the Boy Scouts of America. When the opportunity arises I process wild game and create new sausage recipes, spend time with my Wife and Son and Daughter, and drive my 1931 model A Ford.


Anne Marie Green (Sales Support)

I started with the G&C Foods in Oct 2008. I have had a life long career in the Food Industry and Customer Service. At my previous position at Grand Western Brands I worked as a Sale Associate processing orders, set up delivery schedules, handled returns, and various other aspects of daily sales needs. A Central NY native I have recently returned from Florida.


Donna Dunham (Sales Support)

I joined G&C Foods in July 2008. This is my first time working in the food industry which I'm finding very rewarding and challenging. I have worked in sales and customer service for almost 20 years. When not at work, you'll find me spending time with my two grown children, my cats or catching a local band.


Jill Johnson (Sales Support)

I started with G & C Foods in April of 2009. I began a life long career in customer service in 1975 working in the Deli/Meat Department for a Grocery Store in Pennsylvania. I have worked in various industries on the wholesale distribution end as well as a manager for customer service and quality assurance. I have two adult children, both girls, and one beautiful two year old granddaughter who makes everything worthwhile. I am very happy to be here with the family of G & C Foods.
