Full Time cold storage warehouse selectors working nights starting at 4pm. Must be able to work nights and weekends. High School Diploma or GED required. 1-2 years related experience preferred. Experience will pallet jacks a plus. Must be able to lift 50-75lbs consistently. Must be able to pass pre-employment drug testing, physical abilities and background verification. Drivers haul and deliver to customers daily throughout the Northeast. Drivers are responsible for meeting productivity, accuracy, and safety work standards. Drivers may use a variety of automated equipment and may work with dry, frozen or cooled products. Other duties may include loading and unloading of trucks, placing or moving products in storage, driving single or double trailers, or other duties as assigned. Essential Functions: ~ Drives truck to customer and unloads in a timely manner ~ Displays professional attitude and appearance ~ Operate equipment in a safe manner at all times ~ Assist in unloading or routes at dock and ground stops ~ Maintains cleanliness of all equipment assigned ~ Re-Fuel assigned equipment at end of shift Requirements: ~ Commercial Drivers License-class A ~ Current DOT Medical Card ~ Ability to operate CADEC-onboard computer ~ Ability to properly conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections ~ Ability to accurately complete required paperwork upon delivery to customer ~ Knowledge and compliance with all DOT laws ~ Ability to work long hours, including, nights, weekends and overnights ~ Ability to report to work at all times on short notice ~ Ability to lift up to 100 pounds Must be able to pass pre-employment, DOT physical, drug screen, and physical abilities test, Qualified and enthusiastic applicants can apply online at https://gcfoods.com/applications/driver. ~ Location: Syracuse ~ Compensation: 36 cents per mile, plus $20 per stop when delivering ~ Please, no phone calls about this job!
